Strong Denver Housing News

During the past few weeks, Denver's housing market has been well rated in comparison to other metropolitan markets, by a few significant sources.
In late January, HomeVestors released a list of the top 10 markets for real estate investment. Denver was listed among Dallas/Ft Worth and Minneapolis as key areas to invest in real estate. HomeVestors is the "Ugly House" franchise that pays cash for distressed properties.
In addition, The PMI Group issued it's 2009 Winter Index, predicting that half of the nation's MSA's (Metropolitan Statistical Areas) would see further declines in house prices in 2009. However, The PMI Group's report listed ten MSA's that were stable, and Denver was listed, again with Dallas/Ft Worth.
And according to the recent S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices, the Denver MSA fared third best among the top 20 U.S. cities in 2008.
Given these strong rankings, and given the historic low rates for a 30-year fixed mortgage, the outlook for the Denver real estate market is strong.
