Market Trends in Highland, West Highland and Berkeley Neighborhoods

Glancing at MetroList's Denver Northwest DNW Weekly Summary today, I thought a few facts are noteworthy.

Keep in mind, DNW encompasses a small sliver of land - Colfax Avenue is the southern boundary, 52nd Avenue (just north of I-70) is the northern boundary. It follows I-25 to the east and Sheridan to the west. It includes Sloans Lake, Jefferson Park, Highland, West Highland, Sunnyside, Berkeley - Chaffee Park, too.

'DNW' is one of the smallest geographic areas in the MetroList, but it's packed with some of Denver's most desirable neighborhoods. So a glance in it's direction might speak volumes about the real estate trends in Denver.

It's a Great Day in Park Hill

When the American Planning Association selected Park Hill as a Great Place in America in 2008, the neighborhood was honored – but not surprised.  Here in Denver, we know a Great Place when we see one. And Park Hill is definitely in that category.

The APA is the national organization that represents professional land use planners and planning commissioners. It's stated mission is to "provide leadership in the development of vital communities. We measure our success by the successes of our members and the communities they serve."
